MPA Young Child

The Young Child program is for children 2 and 3 years old! Children have access to a wealth of enriching Montessori materials in a nurturing, creative, consistent environment under the care of a Montessori Directress.

Just as in the Early Childhood program, there is plenty of time for children to work with Montessori materials in each of the five classroom areas; Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math and Cultural, with a particular emphasis on the first three. The focus of teaching this age group is to help children develop skills leading them toward independence as well as helping them to discern, manipulate and categorize the world around them both verbally and through their five senses.

(Lunch 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM      Nap/rest time 1:00 PM – wake)

*Before and aftercare available 7:30-8:30 AM/ 3:30-5:30 PM*
